Common Questions
Can I join if I'm not a student?
Yes! The Recreation class is open to all community members ages 16+. However, the NCWA competitive traveling team is strictly restricted to current UCSD students.
Do I need to compete to join?
No. Students and non-students alike are welcome to participate in practices purely for fitness, fun, or learning self-defense without ever stepping onto a competition mat.
